Titahi Bay residents would like the whole of Porirua Harbour to be sustainable managed with
particular emphasize on silting, water quality, reducing rubbish, having safe access for families and the creation of a walkway from Onepoto to Porirua shopping district.

Proposed Actions
Prepare a co-joint Porirua Harbour management and action plan with Ngati Toa,TBRA, Pauatahanui Inlet Trust, PCC, Wellington City Council (WCC) and GWRC to manage and improve the quality of Porirua harbour and reduce siltation (including dredging as a possibility to reverse this trend).
Link Onepoto Bay and Porirua City with a lit walkway/promenade.
Introduce measures to improve water quality in the harbour and counter the issue of siltation.
Remove rubbish from the shore of the harbour.
