Proposed Actions
Promote the PCC phone number and website informing residents about who to contact regarding maintenance and service requests. Ensure the phone service runs smoothly, specific services
are identified, response time is improved and there is consultation regarding the services.
Provide spaces for cultural and art facilities.
PCC to develop a staged program for creating further walkways and upgrading playgrounds.
Enlarge and upgrade the playground at the south end of the beach.
Create signs to and identify cycle and walking paths.
Provide cycle storage facilities in strategic locations throughout the Bay.
PCC and residents continue to promote the Big Dig and other Bay events.
Recognize the surfing potential of Titahi Bay beach through promotion, signage and events.
Residents and PCC work together to create a park development plan.
Establish lookout points at strategic locations e.g. Terrace Road, Pikarere Street and Gloaming Hill.
